Cinnamon-sugar coffee cake

My mom used to make coffee cake in a square pan and cut it into uneven little squares, and I still do it like that. It means the corner pieces get more cinnamon top and the middle pieces stay soft, and you can eat three and only count it as one. I made this at around two in the afternoon on a Saturday because the house was quiet and I wanted the oven on. My husband came into the kitchen when he smelled it. That’s the point of coffee cake.
